This poignant track emerged from a profoundly emotional experience; shortly after SHAB completed a studio session with Sharpe, she received the devastating news that her partner had been critically injured in a car accident in Dallas. “Skin & Bones” encapsulates SHAB’s vulnerability and strength during this challenging time.
Damon Sharpe, a GRAMMY-winning producer known for his collaborations with artists such as Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Pitbull, Alesso, and Kelly Rowland, shared his thoughts on the song: “’Skin & Bones’ holds significant personal meaning for me. I witnessed the events that inspired this track unfold, making the process of musically conveying SHAB and Rob’s story an emotional journey. The remix follows SHAB’s successful U.S. national tour as the opening act for The Wanted, where she delivered standout performances in cities such as Miami, Phoenix, Chicago, Las Vegas, and New York.
