MIKOLAS, one of the most streamed artists in the Czech Republic, embarks on a new musical chapter with the release of his latest single, “SAMBA,” which serves as the lead track from his eagerly awaited second studio album, “II.” In conjunction with this release, MIKOLAS has announced a return performance at the Lucerna Great Hall, a venue with a capacity of 2,500, which sold out in just over seven minutes.

“I am both humbled and excited. It’s a significant responsibility to my fans, and I know they are looking forward to an exceptional show. I can’t wait,” he expressed.

Following the remarkable success of his debut album, “ONE,” which achieved triple platinum status and recently surpassed 120 million streams on Spotify, “SAMBA” provides fans with a glimpse into MIKOLAS’s evolving artistic persona—one that is darker and more intense.

To commemorate this milestone, MIKOLAS hosted an exclusive VIP release party on April 24 in Prague, marking his first fan-focused live event in several years. Fans were granted complimentary access by registering through his fan portal at www.mikolas.com.

Announced just a week prior, the event featured live performances of MIKOLAS’s greatest hits, the live debut of “SAMBA,” exclusive merchandise, complimentary welcome drinks for attendees, and a personal meet-and-greet for the first 100 fans.

In a further innovative move, MIKOLAS introduced his own magazine, “EMPIRE,” during the release week. Written in a diary format, the magazine provides fans with an intimate look into his life and creative journey.

“I aimed to establish a unique, unfiltered connection with those who accompany me on this incredible journey. I truly enjoy it,” he remarked.

The inaugural issue includes a detailed account of the album’s creation and the story behind “SAMBA.” MIKOLAS candidly discusses his challenges on the path back to Eurovision, revealing that both “SAMBA” and “DELILAH” were contenders for his return to the Eurovision stage. He elaborates on the meaning of “SAMBA,” responds to fan questions regarding confidence and creativity, and shares insights on pursuing one’s dreams. He dedicates this first issue to Parketa, his late tour manager, and Anna Slováčková, a friend and fellow artist, both of whom recently passed away.

The magazine offers readers a rare glimpse into MIKOLAS’s thoughts, presenting an intimate perspective on his life and creative process. It is available through the fan portal on his website.

Additionally, “SAMBA” conveys a social message, as MIKOLAS dedicates the single to single parents. After sharing a personal family story about single parenthood in “EMPIRE,” he stated:

“It opened my eyes to the genuine struggles that single parents face. It’s not just a side story—it’s a reality that deserves recognition.”

His sophomore album, “II,” is anticipated to be released later this year.
