Krono Reinvent Jairic’s Defiance with a French-Touched Remix

Released on February 20, 2026 via Rich Air Music, French electronic duo Krono deliver their remix of Jairic’s fierce single “Don’t Let Me Put A Track On You,” reshaping the alternative rap original into a muscular, club-ready electronic cut.

Made up of brothers Mickaël and David Couderc, Krono are globally known for their deep and melodic house remixes, including their viral rework of Aaron Smith’s “Dancin’,” which surpassed one billion streams and became one of the most recognizable house remixes of the past decade. With releases on Armada and Ultra Music and support from Tiësto and Pete Tong, the duo have established themselves as major players in modern electronic music.

Their take on Jairic’s track injects super-charged basslines, commanding percussion, and hypnotic synth work rooted in French Touch aesthetics. Julie Weber’s smooth pop vocals are subtly warped into an infectious hook, while Jairic’s gritty, unapologetic delivery cuts sharply through the polished production, creating a compelling contrast between Detroit rawness and European club finesse.

Originally featured on Jairic’s 2025 EP n=40, the track already stood out for its fearless lyricism and genre-blurring energy. Krono’s remix amplifies that intensity, pushing it firmly into dancefloor territory without losing its edge.

Bold, polished, and built for impact, the remix bridges hip-hop grit and electronic sophistication with confident precision.
